What is an ISCA and do I need one?

The ISCA is based on the classic Sunfish, and going forwards, is considered the only new class legal boat under the International Sunfish Class Association rules. These ISCA's will be accepted at all levels of ISCA sanctioned racing. Older (pre-2025) Sunfish and new ISCA's with the World Sailing / ISAF plaques will be accepted at all levels of racing. If you're purchasing a new boat with the intent to race in ISCA events, then the ISCA is the proper choice going forwards.
