The Fall Series

The Dinghy Shop's annual Fall Series sailing program has been a Long Island tradition since 1998, offering sailors of all levels fun and a competitive way to extend their season. Held each weekend through the fall, the series brings together local sailors for exciting one-design racing on the Great South Bay. It's a relaxed, welcoming event focused on good racing, great company, and keeping the sailing spirit alive as the weather cools.

Optimist Racing

The Fall Series includes a dedicated Optimist fleet, giving young sailors a fun and supportive environment to build skills and confidence on the water. With short courses and plenty of racing, it's a great way for kids to stay active and engaged in sailing through the autumn months.

The Fall Series Sunfish racing is open to both youth and adults, with two fleets to accommodate beginners and experienced sailors alike. It's a fun, friendly way to improve your skills, compete, and enjoy the water well into the fall season.
