Note for Parents: Most junior sailing programs require that every sailor has at least a proper fitting life jacket and whistle. We also recommend sailing gloves for hand protection, a hat for sun protection, neoprene boots or shoes for foot protection, and a spray top for protection from the water and wind. Additionaly, hydration on the water is important so be sure that sailors have plenty of liquids with them.
