What is a launching dolly and why do I need one?

A launching dolly is a beach and water ready cart that lets you easily move your sailboat / kayak / canoe from the car or trailer right to the water's edge without heavy lifting. The beach dollies allows most sailors to launch and retrieve their boats unassisted.

Are Dynamic dollies easy to assemble and take apart?

Yes, initial assembly can be done with a simple hand held phillips head screwdriver in under 30 minutes. Once built, you can easily break it down for transport or storage into 3 smaller components without the need for any tools.

Is the dolly safe for long term storage of my boat?

Yes, the dolly is a great place to safely store your boat and we recommend leaving your boat on it while not in use. The wide soft sling and hull supports are designed to be easy on your hull.

Is this better than a skewer style cart that goes through the daggerboard trunk or scupper holes?

ABSOLUTELY. Daggerboard trunks / scupper holes were never designed to take the weight of the entire boat being dragged across the sand. Dynamic dollies cradle the hull from underneath and do not transfer any torque to the boat itself.
