The Dinghy Shop is proud to host the 2024 Sunfish Women's North American Championships this September. Sailors of all ages and from all over the country are invited to come and compete here on the Great South Bay. Here's more information on the event but please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

Registration

Registration will be opened shortly and a link will be provided here.

Schedule

• Friday, September 6th
• 1100 - 1800 Check in & Registration
• 1430 Practice Race
• 1700 - 2000 Optional Dinner (More Details Coming)
• Saturday, September 7th
• 0700 - 0930 Breakfast
• 0800 - 1000 Registration
• 0930 Skippers Meeting
• 1100 First Signal for first race of the day
• Subsequent Races back to back with lunch on the water
• 1700 Beach BBQ at the Dinghy Shop
• Sunday, September 8th
• 0700 - 0900 Breakfast
• 1000 First signal for first race of the day
• Subsequent races back to back
• No warning signal to be made after 13:50***
• ***If weather prohibits sailing on Saturday, RC may elect to extend racing on Sunday with no signal after 1500

• Top Master (Sailor over 40)
• Top Youth (Sailor under 19)
• Top 3 GSBYRA Youth Sailors
