Let's paddle this summer.

Join us for the Kayak Open House, a weekend on (and off) the water all about kayaking. This event is geared towards getting new paddlers into kayaks for the first time as well as helping more seasoned paddlers find their next kayak to expand their skills in. We'll be talking and answering questions about all things paddling - techniques, transportation, storage, kayak types, different paddles, where to paddle, and any other questions you can throw at us.

What's going on during the Kayak Open House?

  • Test paddle various types of kayaks with the help of guides.
  • Expert paddlers are on hand to answer any of your questions and offer advice. Don't be afraid to ask those tough kayaking questions.
  • Meet the local paddling clubs and organizations to find your new paddling group and learn new skills.
  • Multiple guided workshops covering all sorts of paddling topics.
  • Shop the sale on various kayaks, paddleboards, and gear.

Kayaking Pro Tip: Try before you buy.

The reason we host this event every year is because we believe that kayaks are sort of like shoes - you need to try them and check fitment before buying. Our goal this weekend is for you to try all different kinds of kayaks (with expert help) to find which is truly the right for you, your paddling goals, and your budget.
