The Optimist Sail Tie Kit has all the Vectran sail ties and corner ties needed to tie your sail onto the spars the right way. This kit includes the Vectran 1.5mm ties and thicker Vectran 3mm corner ties. Low stretch Vectran sail ties are perfect for club sailing or any level of racing.

Optimist Sail Tie Pro Tips

• Extra Long Twice Around - the better choice for Optimist racers. By going around the spars twice it reduces friction and makes adjustment easier on the water.
• We recommend using a square knot to attach the sail to the spars. Leave one tail of the knot long and use that tail to tie a hitch around the tie to lock the square knot in place.
