29er

The 29er came about due to the increasingly apparent need for a high performance youth boat following the success of the skiff type boats spearheaded by the 49er.
There is nothing exotic about the construction of the 29er - no epoxy, no Kevlar, no space age materials - just a standard, proven and tested, fully cored, polyester and fiberglass building method. This has been done because the boat is a youth boat where cost, ease of maintenance, and repair, are primary considerations.
The 29er is a one-design in the strictest of traditions. There are no racing "options" and each boat is already fully equipped with all the sails and "go-fasts" required. All that’s needed is a trapeze harness.
The boat is car-toppable but many people trailor them. This boat is an exhilarating ride and we have seen many inexperienced sailors get in and go!
