Thank you for shopping at the Dinghy Shop.

 

 

Return Policy:

  • Items purchased at Dinghy Shop Inc may be returned to the store within 30 days of purchase for exchange or refund.
  • With an original receipt items returned within 30 days and are new, unused and in original condition and packaging with the manufacturer’s tags still attached will receive a full refund in original form of payment.
  • Returns occurring after 30 days will be given in store credit at the lowest selling price.
  • A return without a receipt will be given in store credit at the lowest sale price.
  • Refunds on purchases originally paid by check will be credited after the check has cleared.
  • Exchanges occurring after 30 days will be processed with any remaining balance being issued as a store credit.
  • Off-site purchases can only be returned to the store to insure proper credit.
  • Special orders are not subject to cancellation. Deposits for special orders are not refundable.
  • Boats and kayaks are not returnable. A defect on a boat will be taken care of according to the manufacturers’ warranty. It will be the customers’ responsibility to cover the cost of shipping of the boat to and from the factory.
  • Monogrammed, made-to-order items, and  DVD/ CDs are not returnable.
  • Close out items are not returnable.
  • We reserve the right to limit or refuse a refund.

Terms of Sale:

  • Bounced checks are subject to the current bank fee at present plus 1.5% past due interest charge per month.
  • Gift certificates may be used for the purchase of product only and are to be submitted for cash.
  • Ownership and title on merchandise and unpaid boats remains with the Dinghy Shop until payment is received.
    Boats purchased and paid for, but not picked up will be subject to ongoing storage and maintanence charges.

Special Orders and Work Orders:

  • Special orders accepted and in operation are not subject to cancellation. A project/ order “Kill Fee” will be established

Open Accounts Policy:

  • Open accounts are reserved for pre-approved customers, clubs, camps and organizations. All  accounts must give Dinghy Shop Inc. payment contact information. All open balances must be paid in 30 days, after 30 days 1.5% interest per month will be charged.
